Wraparound Care
Wraparound care is shared between the two sites: Halfway Juniors in the morning for breakfast club, and Halfway Infants in the evenings
Breakfast Club
Breakfast club runs from 7:45am until the start of the school day. All children from Year 3 to Year 6 are able to come to breakfast club.
Breakfast club costs £3 a session, with a £1 sibling discount. A choice of food such as: cereal, toast, pastries, juices etc can be ordered at an additional cost. During the club children can take part in a range of activities such as: colouring, role-play and construction.
How to book in for Breakfast Club
Breakfast club can be booked via your ParentPay account through the Junior School Parent Pay app.
Charges for the club will also be added to this account. Families can choose to pay their charges through a variety of different methods, including using childcare vouchers.
Superkids after school club
This service is run from our infant site. Children from the Junior building are collected by our staff at the end of the school day and walked to the Nursery building located on the Infant site, where children can be collected by parents.
Superkids is our after school club which is open every day until 6pm.
Children from nursery through to year 6s from both schools can attend this club.
Due to the room size and necessary ratios of staff:children, Superkids is limited to 28 children per session. We do find that some sessions are very popular and we have waiting lists for these sessions.
Superkids costs £8.50 per session, with a 10% sibling discount applied.
During the session children will be given a light tea such as: crackers and cheese, pizza, beans on toast, cold buffet.
Children can also get involved with a range of activities such as: arts and crafts, small-world play and construction. We also have an Xbox where children can play age-appropriate games (time on devices is closely monitored) . When the weather is fine we also have a small outdoor area where children can play games.
How to book in for Superkids
Superkids bookings are managed via our Infant School Office who will arrange a login to the booking system. Please contact the Infant School Office on 0114 248 2360
