Breaktime
Year 3 and Year 4 - 10.30 - 10.45am
Year 5 and Year 6 - 11.00am-11.15am

Children can bring in their own healthy snacks for break time.

During break time we run a rota for football and basketball, along with other games, to encourage our children to stay fit and active.

Lunchtime
Year 3 and Year 4 - 11:50am-12:40pm
Year 5 and Year 6 - 12:40pm-1:30pm

Children can choose to have a school meal provided by the local authority catering partner, Taylor Shaw, or bring in a healthy packed lunch. During the summer children can eat their packed lunches outside on our picnic benches and mats.

During lunch times we offer a variety of different activities to keep our children busy and active! Children are able to join KRS, our sports partners, to play organised games, and use the woodland area for creative outdoor imaginative play. Our Lunchtime leaders support children in creating and organising games outside, alongside selected lunchtime clubs and activities inside the building.

After School Clubs - 3:25pm – 4:25pm

We aim to offer a variety of after school clubs throughout the year. Some clubs we have run in the past are: Karate, craft club, boxercise, archery, dodgeball, film club and football.

We run clubs alongisde our sports partner KRS, Jam-Coding (computing club), and through our specialist teachers in school.

We inform families of our after school clubs via the weekly newsletter and ParentMail.

Wrap-around care: SuperKids

Our afterschool provision is run from our infant site to keep siblings together in one place. Members of staff walk junior children down to superkids each evening where they play games, socialise with peers and spend time relaxing after a busy day at school.

For any children who want to attend SuperKids, run by Halfway Nursery and Infant School, information about how to book your child in for this can be found here.

Please note: places are limited and require booking.
